Whole grain protein pancakes

Who doesn't like to start the day with tasty pancakes? This variant is made with whole wheat flour.

You can drop the protein powder and replace it by adding some extra whole wheat flour.


Ingredients:


4 small pancakes:

  • 15 g Whole wheat flour.

  • 10 g Vanilla smart protein powder.

  • 50 ml of milk

  • 1 egg

  • Pinch of salt

  • A little bit of coconut oil.

Jam:

  • 50 g (Frozen) red fruit mix.

  • 150 ml water

  • 2 tsp Agave syrup.


Directions:


  1. Put all the ingredients for the jam in a saucepan and let it boil on a low heat to a thick paste. (Stir regularly)

  2. Mix all dry ingredients with the egg and then slowly add the milk and beat until smooth.

  3. Heat some coconut oil in a small pan or use a cooking ring to get nice even pancakes.

  4. Make sure the pan is warm before you add batter. This makes baking easier.

  5. Turn the pancake over when the top is "dry" and fry the other side.
